The family owned company, G A Pindar & Son Ltd, was founded in 1836 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, where its head office remains today.

It is the holding company for its three main businesses Pindar Graphics, Pindar Set and AlphaGraphics Inc which collectively focus on the development and provision of integrated services to information rich publishers, from concept to delivery. Some 1,000 operators across the Pindar companies specialise in data gathering and data management in the US, UK and India.
